NPP will begin a State Enterprises Investment Fund using black money – Handunneththi

NPP Executive Committee Member former MP Sunil Handunneththi said that under a future NPP government, a State Enterprises Investment Fund will be started in which any person will be able to invest money.

He also mentioned money earned by some people has not been added to the economic cycle and such monies has not contributed to the national economy.

Handunneththi said that the money may be black money earned through illegal means but such money can also be included in the State Enterprises Fund.

Addressing a discussion held in Polonnaruwa by the NPP, Handunneththi said this fund will be started in such a way that any person in Sri Lanka can invest money and there will be no effort to go looking for how the money was earned.
