A viral fever is spreading at the Hatton Kotagala Sri Pada National College of Education.
Over 90 teacher trainees receiving education there have been treated at the Kotagala Hospital with symptoms of cold, cough and fever.
District Medical Officer Savithri Sharba said that most of them were treated in the outpatient department and were sent home. She said that 10 more teacher trainees are receiving residential treatment in her hospital.
The district medical officer said an investigation regarding the spreading viral fever was underway.
