People expect realistic and truthful solutions at the moment instead of deceit and conceit. A philosophical movement is the need of the hour and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is ready for that, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the SJB Agalawatta electorate office at the invitation of former Provincial Councillor Jagath Pinnagodawithana.
“People of our country live in the midst of many volcanoes. Lack of fertilizer, rising cost of living, unemployment, all these have created an unbearable pain, uneasiness and immense pressure on people. Hundreds of thousands of young people are leaving the country. People hope for a truthful and realistic solution to these serious problems”, he added.
He also added that farmers are extremely helpless today and the lives of the farmers have collapsed. “This government is a government that oppresses the people. It is a government that deprives the people of their lives. The SJB will create an era that will strengthen the lives of the people and provide protection to all sections of society”, he added.
