Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya attended the opening of “19th Century Views of Ceylon” at Westminster House in Colombo last evening (30), gracing the event as Chief Guest.
The exhibition, presented by the George Keyt Foundation in partnership with the British High Commission, was inaugurated by High Commissioner Andrew Patrick, who expressed delight in welcoming the Prime Minister to the occasion.
Bringing together a remarkable collection of historic works, the exhibition offers the public a rare opportunity to view artistic perspectives on 19th‑century Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
