Kolonna Police have started an investigation into a theft of 1,050 kilograms of pepper worth around Rs. two million from a house in Kolonna.
Police said that this stock of peppers was stored in 29 bags in a house located in Kolonna, Munwathuyaya. Thieves have broken into the house by breaking a window and stole the pepper stock from the kitchen.
Police said that this theft took place in a time between November 13 to 18 while the residents were out.
