Police have recovered a stock of 1,298 live T-56 ammunition rounds near the Parakrama Samudraya reservoir in Polonnaruwa.
The ammunition was discovered along the reservoir bund near the rest house during a special search operation carried out by officers of the Polonnaruwa Criminal Investigation Division (CID). (Newswire)
