The Minister said there is a national policy for the Tourism sector. A programme has been initiated to change the institutional structure for this sector. It has been planned to increase tourist arrivals next year and implement a programme to provide quality services to tourists. The aim is to appoint a National Tourism Commission by merging the institutions under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism to revive the sector through structural change.
