Pothupitiya MV makes clean sweep in Kalutara Zonal volleyball

Pothupitiya MV.in the Kalutara Education Division swept the board in Volleyball at the recently held Kalutara Educational Zonal Inter school Volleyball Championship ,organized by the Kalutara Zonal Education Office’s Sports Unit,and held at Pothupitiya M.V.Playground .

,Pothupitiya M.V. recorded victories in Under 16, 18 and 20 boys Championships.

Around forty teams from many leading schools in the zone took part and the Pothupitiya teams defeated all those teams after close fights,Pothupitiya M.V.Volleyball coach Lahiru Kumara told Daily News.

Under16 runner up was Aluthgama M.V. under18 runner up was Royal College,Panadura and 20 runner up was Wadduwa Central National School.
