The presenting of Sannaspathra to the Chief Incumbent of the Sri Shariputhra International Buddhist Centre in Narahenpita, Kodagoda Genegoda Purana Viharaya in Imaduwa, Kalyanabandu Viharaya in Kadawata and Imaduwa Galkaduwa Purana Viharaya, Most Ven. Ratnapure Nanda Thera, who was also appointed as the Galle and Western Province Adhikarana Sanghanayaka and bestowed with the honourary title of Shasana Keerthi Sri Wimalaratne, was held at the Narahenpita Abhayaramaya, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and with the participation of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana.
