Qatar says it has no information about Mossad cells operating in the country, responding to claims made by US broadcaster Tucker Carlson that Qatar and Saudi Arabia had arrested individuals linked to Israel’s intelligence agency.
Speaking to reporters, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said there was no information indicating the presence of Mossad operatives in the country.
The statement came after Carlson alleged during his programme that authorities in Qatar and Saudi Arabia had detained individuals connected to Mossad who were allegedly planning bomb attacks.
Qatari officials did not provide further details but effectively dismissed the claim, reiterating that there is no information to support the allegation.
Saudi authorities have also not issued any official confirmation regarding arrests of individuals linked to Mossad in the kingdom. (Newswire)
