Qserve (PVT) Ltd, a Chartered Quantity Surveying company in the fields of quantity surveying, architecture and project management, celebrated its 30th anniversary recently in Colombo.

During its three decades of success the company has established a global footprint, opening offices in India, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. It also recently received a project in the USA. The international ventures not only broadened Qserve’s expertise but also enriched its perspective, allowing it to bring a global outlook to its local projects. During the time span Qserve has brought in over USD 300 million foreign currency to the country.

“This event marks 30 years of Qserve, her service to the construction industry and is a testament to its growth and expansion in Sri Lanka and abroad,” said Managing Director and Chairperson Qserve Prof. Chitra Weddikkara addressing the gathering at Colombo. She said Qserve got its first break as a separate group when Aitken Spence was embarking on their tea factory project in Kandapola. She said the young Qserve group was offered to carry out the cost management of this tea factory. She thanked the Galle Face Group, Softlogic Holdings, John Keells Group , Cargills Food,  Galadari Group and many more  who had trust in them during  their 30 year  journey.

The journey of Qserve began in 1994 with a simple yet profound vision: to deliver world-class quantity surveying services in Sri Lanka. Prof. Weddikkara, alongside a group of passionate young professionals fresh out of the Department of Building Economics, laid the foundation for what would become one of the most respected names in the construction industry.

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Weddikkara, Qserve has grown from a small, tight-knit team into an international powerhouse, synonymous with quality, innovation, and client-focused solutions. As a company, Qserve has set the gold standard in the industry, delivering unparalleled expertise and service.
