SLC Blues were well set to register their third win in the tournament after having restricted their opponents to 156 for four in 20 overs. Number three batsman Charith Asalanka hit a top score of 57 from 44 deliveries for the unbeaten SLC Greys with the help of three sixes and three boundaries.
But it was young Nuwanidu Fernando who actually provided some momentum to the SLC Greys innings by smashing an unbeaten 50 from 36 balls inclusive of two sixes and three boundaries.
