Ranil Willaddarage launches website ‘jobonline.lk’ to generate job opportunities for SL youth

The “Ranil Willaddarage Foundation”, under the chairmanship of Ranil Willaddarage, has launched the website jobonline.lk to generate employment opportunities for Sri Lankan youth.

The inauguration of the website took place at the Piliyandala Susiri Reception Hall.

The objective of this initiative is to identify job vacancies at Gflock and other prominent businesses and to offer relevant employment opportunities to young people. The website will provide valuable guidance, helping individuals find suitable positions aligned with their education and professional training. Additionally, it will feature a range of job opportunities, from entry-level to executive positions, available in major private institutions.

Ranil Wiladdarage said that; “There are approximately ten job vacancies per month at Gflock, and these opportunities will be made available through this website to qualified individuals. Today, finding suitable employees and professionals even for our business has become increasingly challenging. Hence, the creation of this website, it is crucial for the private sector to have a platform to identify and recruit suitable candidates. The website allows individuals to submit their application forms and enables businesses to identify the employees they need for the vacancies listed on the site.”

Ranil Wiladdarage, Chairman of the foundation, emphasized the significance of the website’s role in facilitating the easy discovery of job opportunities. He added that the primary goal is to offer timely employment opportunities to young people seeking jobs on the “jobonline.lk” website, in alignment with their qualifications.
