Rap singer dies at Galle Face protest

Sri Lankan rap artist known as Shiraz ‘Rude Boy’ had died during the protest at the Galle Face Green Monday night due to a sudden illness.

It was reported he was entertaining those at the protest when he collapsed. It is suspected that he had died due to heart failure.
