Ratnapura Deputy Inspector General of Police Priyantha Liyanage has received a transfer as the DIG in charge of the Western Province Traffic Division. This transfer was issued yesterday (18) under the signature of Inspector General.
It will be effective immediately.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Karunanayake, who was in charge of the Western Province Traffic Division, has been appointed to the post which Liyanage held.
These transfers have been carried out with the approval of the Police Commission and according to service needs, police headquarters said.
