A new set of guidelines will be issued for the use of fuel for government vehicles through a new circular.
The circular issued by the Public Service, Provincial Councils and Local Government Ministry Secretary advises State officials not to use fuel for government vehicles for non-essential travel.
The Secretary further states that summoning of officials from outside the provinces to attend seminars in Colombo using government vehicles has already been restricted.
