SLBC and SLRC News Reader Irshad A. Cader had organized ‘Meelad Vasantham’, an Islamic Cultural Programme held at the New Kathiresan Hall, Bambalapitiya recently.
International Human Rights Global Mission Chairman Dr. M.A.C. Mahusoom, Lanka Agro Processing Pvt Ltd Chairman Dr. M.C. Bahardeen, New Kathiresan Temple Chief Trustee Rajendiran Chettiyar were present as special guests.
A Sponsor of the event Rite Shu Private Limited Managing Director Aslam Thowfeek received the sponsorship award from Metropolitan College Chairman Shiraz Meerasahib.
Leader of the SLMC Rauff Hakeem MP, Ex MP’s Hunais Farook and Mailwakanam Thilakaraja including Ex-Provincial Councilor K.M.A. Razak and Attorney at Law Mahsoom Moulana participated at the ‘Meelad (Poet ) Kaviarangam’ programme, conducted by famous poet Ali Akbar.
The SLBC Muslim Service programme ‘Sanjanam’ were also staged and presented by Mahdi Hassan Ibrahim, Nei Raheem Saheed and Dickwellai Kamal.
Maruthamunai Kamaldeen, Maruthamunai Jaufer, Farah Ammer Khan, Ameera Ameer Khan and Maryam Namiz sang the Islamic Songs. Zahra Ishbahan and Isza Maryam presented the dialogs.
Former Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Oman who is also the Additional Foreign Secretary Ameer Ajwad, Former Governor of Western Province Azath Salley, Media Personnel, sponsors, artistes, SLBC and SLRC Senior Officials graced the event. A token of appreciation was presented to the participants at the programme.
