Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee member Roshan Mahanama has been appointed as the team mentor of the Dambulla Sixers for the 2026 edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
The former Sri Lanka cricketer and former ICC Match Referee will continue in the role after serving as mentor of the franchise during the 2024 season.
The Dambulla Sixers announced the appointment, describing Mahanama as a World Cup-winning cricketer, respected cricket administrator, and one of Sri Lanka’s most admired cricket personalities.
Mahanama, who was a member of Sri Lanka’s 1996 World Cup-winning team, has also held several administrative and governance roles in cricket, including serving as an ICC Match Referee.
The Dambulla Sixers said his experience, leadership and guidance would continue to support the team as it prepares for the upcoming LPL season. (Newswire)
