Anuradhapura Criminal Investigation Division official on Tuesday arrested Reserve Police Constable who was deployed for the
security of a magistrate with 405mg of heroin. Police investigations have revealed that this PC in question was heavily addicted to drugs. The suspect who was attached to the Nivithigala police station is resident of Pemadu, Karambagollewa.
Investigations have revealed that this Police Constable has come to his home in Anuradhapura without informing his superiors. He has been arrested in the Anuradhapura town while returning home after buying a packet of heroin through easy cash system
