Ruhuna University’s library renovated

Ruhuna University Library, which was renovated at a cost of Rs. 169 million, was handed over to the students recently.

The work on the three-storied library building, which began in 1978, was completed in 1986. Accordingly, the books in all the small libraries that were established in different places on the campus were gathered in this new place and since then it became the main library of Ruhuna University. The library has been renovated at a cost of Rs. 169 million.
