Russia promotes educational projects for Lankan students

The Russian House in Colombo hosted a large-scale congress on medicine and healthcare jointly with the First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University). The University delegation, led by Rector Peter Glybochko, has arrived in Colombo to initiate an educational project at the Russian House. The event was organised with the support of former Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, one of the first Sri Lankan graduates of Sechenov University, Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, and President of the Association of Sri Lankan Graduates, National Hospital Director, Dr. Kumar Wickramasinghe.

Head of the Russian House, Maria Popova and Rector of the University Peter Glybochko, spoke about a joint project developed specifically for students from Sri Lanka.

First Moscow State Medical University entered into an agreement with the Russian House Colombo aimed at promoting educational projects in Sri Lanka specially pre university courses.
