Both teams with the Officials
In this inaugural inter Bank six-a-side Cricket tournament, Sampath Bank beat Bank of Ceylon “A” by six runs which was organised and sponsored by the newly formed Bankers Club of Sri-Lanka and played for Bandula Warnapura and S.Illangaratnam trophy on March 5 at the Bloomfield grounds.
The teams which took part In this inaugural tournament are People’s Bank, Hatton National Bank “B” ,Bank of Ceylon “B”, National Savings Bank, Sampath Bank, Hatton National Bank “A”, Bank of Ceylon “A”.
