He becomes the second Sri Lankan cricketer to participate in this cricket tournament and will represent the Chitwan Tigers.
Earlier, Sri Lanka wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal was roped in by franchise team Bhairahawa Gladiators for the Everest Premier League.
Both Chandimal and Prasanna are currently representing SLC Reds in the SLC Invitational T20 League Cricket Tournament at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
The 31-year-old Prasanna will join hands with Sharad Vesawkar, Captain of the Gladiators Team and former Sri Lanka wicket-keeper batsman Pubudu Dassanayake, who will join the team as the Head Coach.
In fact, Dassanayake was the former coach of the Nepal National Team. (D.R)
