Several spells of showers are expected in the Uva and Southern provinces, as well as in the districts of Ampara, Batticaloa, Matale, and Nuwara-Eliya. A few showers may also occur in the Northern and North-Central provinces and in the Trincomalee district.
Showers or thundershowers are likely at several locations in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with the Kurunegala district, particularly during the evening or night. Fairly heavy rainfall, around 50 mm, can be anticipated in some areas.
Fairly strong winds, ranging between 30-40 kmph, are expected at times over the eastern slopes of the central hills and in the Northern, North-Central, North-Western provinces, and the Matale district.
Morning misty conditions are likely in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Southern provinces, as well as in the Badulla district.
