A shooting incident was reported in Kapugama, Matara this morning (03), leaving one person injured, police said.
According to reports, two individuals on a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim while he was at his residence.
The injured individual, a 48-year-old man, has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
