Showers or thundershowers is expected to occur at some places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts during the afternoon or night.
Showers may also occur at Eastern, Uva and North-Central provinces and in Mullaitivu district.
Fair weather is expected to prevail elsewhere in the Island.
