Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kandy District MP M.Velu Kumar announced his support for President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday (15). Shortly before President Wickremesinghe left to submit his nomination for the Presidential Election, Velu Kumar visited his office on Flower Road to deliver the news of his support.Several politicians from opposition parties offered their support to President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming election, including former Local Government State Minister Shriyani Wijewickrema, former MP Gunasekaram Shanger, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Moneragala District MP Gayashan Nawananda, and the leader of the Eksath Janatha Peramunna S. Hapuarachchi. In offering their support to the President, they stated, “Ranil Wickremesinghe was able to lead the country to a better place, and the country needs his leadership further to become better.”
