Following the suspension of Iranian attacks targeting Israel, clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, marking the first ground confrontations since the outbreak. So far, eight Israeli soldiers have been killed in the fighting. Amid these tensions, the United Nations has convened an emergency session to discuss the escalating military situation in the Middle East. The Israel-Hamas conflict, which has persisted for nearly a year, took a new turn with Iran launching missile strikes at Israel as a show of support for Lebanon.
