The Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council (SLMBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will be launching a revolutionary www.worldofwanitha.com, an e-commerce platform enabling our women entrepreneurs a market place to develop & market their produce and services to global markets.
This platform will be launched on March 7, at Hilton Colombo Residences at 5.00 p.m. to commemorate International Womens’ Day, under the theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’ to uplift the livelihood of the country’s female population.
World of Wanitha (Wow) will serve as a beacon of hope for Sri Lankan women enabling women-led formal and informal organisations to showcase their produce and enter wider markets. This will in turn enable them to transform their life story to a success story, these stories will impact many lives, families and positively change the future of Sri Lanka – socially and economically.
