Sri Lanka Air Force warns public over fake AN-32 aircraft training programmes

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has warned the public against unauthorized advertisements offering training programs, aircraft inspection workshops and practical exposure involving SLAF Antonov AN-32 aircraft.

The SLAF said third-party entities and pages, including those operating under the names “Flight Garage” and “Nextgen Engineers’ Force,” have been advertising such programs without authorization.

The Air Force stressed that it has no association, partnership or involvement with the workshops, entities or registration campaigns.

Members of the public have been urged not to transfer money, pay registration fees or provide personal information to third parties claiming to offer access to SLAF aircraft or hands-on aircraft maintenance training.

The SLAF said its official announcements and training or educational opportunities are published only through its official website and verified social media channels.

The public has also been urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious advertisements to the relevant authorities. (Newswire)
