Sri Lanka has welcomed over 1.5 million tourists up to 18 August 2025, according to Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath.
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reported 1,497,514 arrivals from January to 17 August, with an additional inflow pushing the figure beyond 1.5 million by the afternoon of 18 August. (Newswire)
