Sri Lanka Janahada Foundation is celebrating its 25th full year with great joy. The conversation that took place between the current president Sirilal Dias National Youth Service, youth affairs officer K.A. Krishantha Neelsiri and some other friends who currently reside in England. Let us remember very humbly that the Sri Lanka Janahada Foundation has become a giant tree today, reaching out to many people in need of relief services.
The Sri Lanka Janahada Foundation has been able to equip the new generation of young people in the underprivileged areas and rural areas with subjects like overcoming challenges and leadership training, health and knowledge sports.
The Janahada Foundation continues to expand its services by providing school equipment, computers, spectacles and wheelchairs to patients, providing medical equipment, medicines and building buildings to hospitals in remote areas still affected by the war. The contribution of financial and material assistance from British and various national friends as well as Sri Lankan friends residing in England, who are with the President of the Janahada Foundation Sirilal Dias, has been very extensive today. Due to this, the Sri Lanka Janahada Foundation has been able to speed up its services
Krishantha Neelasiri, who bears the burden of this foundation in Sri Lanka, is in charge of the Sirilal Dias coordinator’s plans. Seema Malhotra (Ministry of Home Office) of Britain, who appreciated Sirilal’s social and relief work, presented the award and the honorary certificate to the coordinator of Sri Lanka, Krishantha Neelasiri, in recognition of his service in the country.
