The number of tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka so far this year has surpassed 1.3 million.
According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, 1,313,974 tourists arrived in the country between January 1 and July 26, 2026.
A total of 167,401 tourists visited Sri Lanka during the first 26 days of July.
India was the leading source market for July, with 38,785 arrivals.
It also recorded the highest number of arrivals so far this year, with 310,293 Indian tourists visiting Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
