Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ameer Ajwad, has met Saudi Deputy Minister for Public Diplomacy Raed bin Abdullah Al-Kurmaili for discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh, the two officials exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored avenues to further expand cooperation and engagement between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
The Embassy said the meeting also reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to further strengthen the longstanding relations between the two countries.
Second Secretary and Head of Chancery Damithri Samangika accompanied Ambassador Ajwad at the meeting. (Newswire)
