Sri Lanka is honored to be part of the _Ship for World Youth Leaders (SWY36)_ program, a prestigious global initiative promoting youth leadership, cultural exchange, and international cooperation. Scheduled from January 24th to February 21st, 2025, in Japan, this program will host young leaders from various nations to engage in leadership training, cross-cultural understanding, and discussions on global issues.
The Sri Lankan delegation, comprising 9 accomplished participants, represents a dynamic mix of young talent contributing to fields such as community development, arts, sports, and entrepreneurship. The delegation is led by Nimesha Thiwankara Senevipala, Assistant Director of Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as the National Leader. Their participation underscores Sri Lanka’s commitment to empowering its youth and fostering international collaboration.
