SriLankan Airlines has temporarily suspended all flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, until Oct. 18 following a recent security incident affecting Riyadh Airport.
The national carrier said the decision was taken while safety and operational assessments are being carried out.
“The safety and security of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority,” the airline said, adding that services would resume once conditions are assessed as suitable for commercial flight operations.
Passengers affected by the suspension have been advised to contact SriLankan Airlines or their travel agents for further information. (Newswire)
