The premiere of the latest short film Upadana of popular and charismatic actor Pubudu Gamage’s Arts School STARBORN, was recently shown at Austasia, Thalawathugoda. This short film, completed with everyone’s contribution, is the third short film completed this year by students of his school under the supervision of Pubudu Gamage.
It is of significance that many of those who contributed to this were students of Pubudu Gamage.
Gayan Buddhi was the managing director of this film, which was filmed by Dinuka Sachinthana as his debut in cinematography. This school, which provides knowledge about acting for children through practical activities, is preparing to present many more creations in the future.
Through STARBORN Film Television Acting Academy, children are taught about television and film acting, voice training, screenwriting, directing and camerawork from an early age, and many programmes on children’s personality development are also conducted simultaneously.
