A spokesperson of the Panadura Base Hospital said that a student of a school in Panadura had been injured in a bottle attack by a student of the same school. A hospital spokesman said that a 12-year-old resident of Nalluruwa, Panadura has been hospitalised and his condition is not serious. Police said that investigations were started based on a complaint made by the student’s father who was injured. Police also said that preliminary investigations revealed that the student who was assaulted had often bullied the other student. A senior police officer said that the assault was carried out by a child under 12 years and therefore no arrests was made.
