Mohamed Thaha of Moors Sports Club won the Under-21 National Snooker Championship after he defeated his club mate M.F.M. Fahim by 5 frames to 3 in the 9-frame encounter played at the Moors SC Billiards Tables in Colombo.
It was sweet revenge for Thaha, who was defeated last year by the same opponent in an identical final.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Thaha overcame Minsara Jayasinghe of Starlight BC and Fahim got the better of Samith Kumara of Thawalama BC to reach the final.
