Three of the four members nominated from the National List of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) are scheduled to take oath today.
Accordingly, Members of Parliament from the SJB including Sujeewa Senasinghe, Mano Ganeshan and Muthu Mohamed are scheduled to take oath today. The first order of business after the Parliament convenes today will be the swearing-in of these members, after which a public representative will be appointed for the post of Speaker.
Nizam Kariapper who was nominated to Parliament as a National List MP under the SJB is scheduled to take oath tomorrow.
