PLOTE Leader and Jaffna District TNA MP D.Siddharthan on Thursday said they decided to engage meaningfully and wisely with the President and that a decision was arrived at to focus on problems being faced by the Tamil people.
Expressing his views to the media in Jaffna, MP Siddharthan said that the President has allocated March 25 for a discussion with the TNA, based not on his willingness but due to the impact of the international community. “However, even in the context of the massive exchange of loans between Sri Lanka and India, and as the Prime Minister of India prepares to visit Sri Lanka, the TNA should hold discussions with the President with utmost care”, he said.
