Tuvini, Prithika win U-18 doubles title

Thehan Wijemanne and Anjalika Kurera won the 106th Tennis Nationals mixed doubles crown beating Chathurya Nilaweera and Savini Jayasuriya 6/1, 1/6, 10/8 in a closely contested final at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts yesterday.

Meanwhile Tuvini de Alwis of Methadist College partnered by Prithika Chandramohan of Asian International School clinched the girls’ under-18 doubles title defeating Dewmini Warnasuriya and Nishka Vivekanandan 6/1, 7/6 (5). (AA)
