Around 23 persons, including four females, have been arrested at Sinhapura in Wellampitiya during a raid, with drugs and weapons, Police said.
The group was arrested during a pre-dawn joint operation carried out by the Police, Special Task Force (STF) and the Military yesterday.
Various narcotic substances including heroin illicit alcohol, swords and other weapons were taken into custody.
