A two-day International Workshop on Social Work and Social Policy will be held on September 2 and 3 at 9:00 a.m. at Hotel Janaki, Narahenpita Colombo.
This international conference will be held under the theme “Challenges for Policy and Social Work in Contemporary Japanese and South Asian Societies”.
Social Empowerment State Minister Anupa Pascual is scheduled to participate in the inaugural function of this workshop.
Besides, President of the Japan College of Social Service, President of the International Federation of Social Service Prof. Machiko Ohara, assistant Prof. of the Japan College of Social Service and Treasurer of the International Federation of Social Service Victor Virag, Bangladesh Public University associate Prof. Hambur Rahman, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Colombo, Prof. Saroj Jayasinghe will deliver lectures.
