Two suspects were arrested by the Police Special Task Force on Saturday along with Rs.8.2 million earned from drug trafficking.
According to information received by the Navy Intelligence Division, these two suspects were arrested at Sea Street in Colombo. In addition to the money, the Special Task Force has also found an electronic money counting machine. The suspects are a 39-year-old man from Wattala area and 62-year-old man from Wellampitiya.
The two suspects along with the money have been handed over to Keselwatta Police Station for investigations.
