Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several players for franchise leagues, with Eshan Malinga and Kusal Mendis among the latest to receive clearance.
SLC confirmed that Eshan Malinga has been approved to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL), while Kusal Mendis has been cleared to feature in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In addition, Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis, Dushmantha Chameera, and Dunith Wellalage had already been granted permission earlier to participate in their respective franchise commitments.
However, there has been no official communication so far regarding the NOC status of Matheesha Pathirana, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Nuwan Thushara.
Sri Lanka Cricket also stated that only players who successfully pass the required fitness tests will be permitted to take part in overseas franchise leagues. (Newswire)
