Two more students suspected of being involved in the attack and damage to the official residence of Professor Athula Senaratne from the Peradeniya University have been arrested after surrendering to the police.
Accordingly, the total number of students who have been arrested in connection with the related incident is 12.
The university administration revoked the studentship of these 12 students due to several indiscipline actions including attacking the official residence of the professor.
