Former Minister Udaya Gammanpila was acquitted and discharged by the Colombo High Court on Monday in a case over the alleged fraudulent sale of company shares belonging to Australian national Brian Shaddick.
He had been accused of misappropriating Rs. 20 million by using a forged power of attorney to sell the shares.
