United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Range Bandara has written to Galle District Deputy Elections Commissioner W. H. R. Wijekumara seeking the removal of seven members of the Galle District Pradeshiya Sabha who have been found guilty by the UNP Disciplinary Committee.
The UNP General Secretary has instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Elections to remove seven Pradeshiya Sabha members, namely two members of Imaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha, one from Habaraduwa, one from Karandeniya, one from Baddegama, one from Yakkalamulla and one from the Bentota Pradeshiya Sabha.
