Three suspects have been arrested by the Western Province Northern Crime Division for possessing vehicles without valid registration certificates.
According to the Police, the arrests were made on April 1, 2026, during investigations into a suspect allegedly involved in preparing forged documents and engaging in a vehicle racket.
The Police said the suspects, aged 21, 39, and 44, are residents of Kandana and Meegahawatta.
They were taken into custody along with three cars, two jeeps, one lorry, and a motorcycle.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Western Province Northern Crime Division. (Newswire)
